Cam Locke
Cam Locke, once a dedicated nature and wildlife artist, discovered her true passion for storytelling later in life. Growing up in the city, she never owned a horse until meeting her cowboy husband, Charlie, which sparked her love for barrel racing and the rodeo. Naturally, she gravitated toward writing Western romance, reflecting her deep connection to horses, cowboys, and the rugged lifestyle of the Great American West.
Her Contemporary Western Romance series began with The Four Steps, followed by Dear Darling Lilli, a historical romance set in the late 1800s. Cam’s work captures authentic emotions and experiences, blending history and romance. When she’s not writing, she’s embracing her love for the Western way of life and the legends of early cowboys.
